I have been searching for personal evidence for many years without success. I had been considering a trip to the Banyan retreat but have been put off by the requirement that it all takes place in complete darkness.
The scole experiment has produced amazing results. However I am still left with concerns when permission was not granted for an spr member to wear infra red goggles.
Then I read about the disgraceful conduct of Gary Mannion and think to myself yep that's why I was right to be concerned.
I want to believe but true to theistory of research it is devastating to be duped and unfortunately there are more snake oil salesman around than ever.
Gary was 100% genuine as a healer....no doubt of that at all. I have so many interviews, testimonials and research work about him. Where he went wrong was diversifying into physical phenomena, which , dare I say can be more lucrative...and we all know the result of that. Such a pity...but be in NO doubt that his healing was genuine. There are more snake oil salesmen around than ever in all avenues of research....and indeed in scepticism...that is why we have to concentrate on all of the best examples and hold fast to these possibilities. Do not let the poor examples dampen the truth that you have found in the evidential cases. All the snake oil salesmen do not make our quest for truth and honesty any easier...but hopefully worth the effort. very best wishes Tricia.
